Virginio Milani tour

This itinerary aims to honour one of the major artists from Polesine and one of the greatest sculptors of the 20th century: Virgilio Milani.

This urban path, marked with signs, starts from the Fontana della Riconoscenza (train station) and runs through the entire city, pointing out his public works. The objectives of this initiative are: honouring Virgilio Milani's work; promoting the city by means of a high-profile cultural-tourist proposal; raising awareness among Rovigo’s citizens of their exceptional culture; and promoting visits and stays in the city and its centre.

The path invites visitors to gain insight into the artistic heritage of a great artist from Rovigo, who was very close to his city and unanimously recognised as one of greatest artists of the 20th century.

This artistic and cultural itinerary is promoted by the Fondazione Banca del Monte di Rovigo, in collaboration with the Municipality of Rovigo.
