Nature tour to discover the western part of Polesine
Bike and boat naturalistic itinerary.
You set off by bicycle from Fratta Polesine, near Canda, known for Villa Nani Mocenigo. A few kilometers of dirt roads, among cultivated fields, embankments and trees will
lead you to the town of Trecenta, famous for its "gorghi", ancient riverbeds that are now protected wetlands. The most famous is the "gorgo della sposa", (bride’s wetland) wrapped in legends and mysteries.
On the way back you will travel by boat, along the pristine shores and suggestive atmospheres until the Mulino Pizzon (Pizzon mill), an admirable example of industrial archaeology.
